Update asks me to disable Dropbox Backup & wants to download files locally.

I'm literally so confused because Dropbox all of a sudden wants me to update Dropbox Backup and prompted me to disable backup in order to update and then proceed to try to download OVER 1TB of data o...

Hi!

 

Yes, I have a MacOS device and it is currently running Sonoma 14.4. I have attached the message that popped up for me. When I clicked Disable Backup the first time, it then started to download all of my files back onto my computer that I had made online-only, so I had to try and intervene and re-enable backup and re-upload my files to online only, and restore the backups that it had deleted by disabling it.
