I can't see the top level folder in Adobe after the latest Dropbox team update
Our organization (Dropbox Advanced) recently was migrated to the Dropbox "team space" file system model. I have encountered no unexpected behavior with interacting with my files in macOS Finder or Wi...

Can you send me a couple of screenshots of what you see while using the Adobe + Dropbox integration (when it comes to seeing the top lever folder and your Dropbox’s name)? That'll help me look into this further.
Ping me, when you’re ready.

See screenshots (redacted) of Acrobat Pro and Finder.

It looks like Acrobat has the functionality, and might be the only existing solution for this basic task - but I have no access to the top level directory. And that's where 100% of my business's files are located.
- benX2 years agoNew member | Level 2Hi Nancy - any update on this issue? Same exact problem here on a brand new Samsung tablet that I bought primarily to do this exact thing - handwrite on PDFs stored in Dropbox. It seems like this would be an ideal solution but I can't access any of my files, because my business's entire file system is at the top level of our Dropbox account. The top level is completely inaccessible.

Dropbox, could you please fix this issue. IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING!

Same here. I work in IT support. This is on Windows machines.
We have a client with Dropbox Business Plus and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. In the "Other file store" area of Acrobat, we have chosen "Add file storage" and can successfully add the Dropbox account. However the users can only see their personal (business) Dropbox folder, but not any of the Dropbox Team Folders. And there is no way to navigate "up" so to speak.
There are other ways to access the files in the Dropbox Teams Folders, but it requires navigating through the Dropbox web interface or installing the sync agent. This is not something we want to do in all cases. It seems a pretty useless connection feature to integrate with Adobe if a critical component for almost all business users is missing.
More concerning is the lack of any further response to this issue.

Hi everyone, we appreciate the feedback on this matter.
In this instance, we would recommend that you contact Adobe for further assistance, in order to update their integration to support the new file system for the Dropbox team folders.
