When I click dropbox paper invite, I get "You are not a member of the team anymore" message
thing is, I am a team member, I even bought the pro membership, thinking this is what prevented me from using it, but it still does not work,
help!

Hi ce60, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clarify what plan you're on according to this page, including the total quota available?
This will help me to assist further!

Dropbox plus. Using 5.3 GB of 2.01 TB
The invitation link works only through incognito mode on Chrome.

It sounds like you're not a member of a Dropbox Business team, since you're on a Plus plan.
The invite link would indicate that the Paper doc is only available to members of a Dropbox Business team, which you are not part of.
I'd recommend asking the owner of the file to allow the file to be shared to non-members of the team.

Yeah, but no.
Everyone in the group I am working with has free accounts, and they invited me to their document.
So, no business account anywhere - and it still does not work
Also, if we can't make this work, I would like a refund for the whole year I just paid since I bought it specifically for this project.

Have you contacted the user who sent you the Paper invite? Could you ask them to check what plan they have from the account page, just to be certain?
Regarding a refund request, you can contact the support team directly if you wish.

I did, and I put what the user sending me the invite said in the answer above 🙂

Could you attach a screenshot showing the message you're getting, while hiding any personal info?

The person sending me the invite has a personal basic account.

Does this apply for any Paper doc you're being invited to from that user, or just this particular doc? Please could you attach a screenshot showing the message you're getting so we can assist further?

it seems to happen with every paper document, since I cannot even open the sample one in my files folder
