Can't update billing info to receive a refund on a now Basic account
I started a free trial then was charged for the essential plan. My bank flagged it as fraud and canceled the card. I contacted dropbox for a refund, which they provided however, the card on file is the one that ny bank canceled. Now that my plan has dropped to basic I cannot get any help to update the card & receive the funds. I do not have an option to update billing as it's blank. I've tried to respond to the initial chat but that seems to go to an unmonitored inbox.

I believe that your bank will have the way to refund you back to your new card, but just to be safe, can you share with me your ticket ID for your previous support interaction?

Refunds will still go to your account. The back end systems will know which numbers you have and had.

Thanks for the ticket number, kristal217! I checked it and it looks like it ended up in an unmonitored queue.
Can you please clarify if you’ve contacted your bank in the meantime about this? I also believe that they can further assist you in getting your money back from Dropbox, since the previous payment method is no longer active.
