Dropbox keeps trying to charge me and I have the free option. How the heck can I get ahold of support? This is absolutely ridiculous

I have been trying to reach out to them for a month now. I created some account, I don't remember when, and connected it to my card. I am charged 11.99 every month. I do not know what email it is. It is fkn horrible how you can't reach out to them unless you are logged in to your account. What can I do? This is fked up.

Make sure you are not logged in at all not even to the forums and then go to www.dropbox.com/support. From there you should get an option to get account help. You can then log a ticket. Often using an incognito/private window will do this for you.

Hi Ambercormier, welcome to our Community!
Is it possible that you have another account, and the charge is related to that? Have you tried our self-serve look-up tool, in order to locate where the charge is coming from?
If I were you, I'd give it a go.
Keep me posted of any updates!
- Ambercormier3 years agoExplorer | Level 3Since the payment hasn't went through I don't have a transaction ID. Is there a way to delete my whole entire account?

Hi Ambercormier, I hope you don’t mind me jumping in.
If you check your bank statement, do you only see Dropbox next to these charges or is there also a reference to Apple/Google, as well?
- Ambercormier3 years agoExplorer | Level 3It's not fully charged because I don't keep money in my account but they have tried about 10 times

Hi there Ambercormier!
Is it possible that you joined a free Dropbox trial from the app on your phone at some point?
If so, can you follow these steps, to see if it's possible to cancel it?
- Ambercormier3 years agoExplorer | Level 3Yes but I have canceled the trial

Hi Ambercormier, would it be okay for me to reach out via email, in order for us to have a closer look into this?
- maddieflora3 years agoNew member | Level 2I was just charged £199.00 for some Dropbox subscription I have no recollection of signing up for and am trying to contact Dropbox support via an email form, but nothing happens when I press the submit button. Really frustrating I would just like an email address to contact them with. Thanks
