4 years agoHi mishamoonbow, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you trying to upgrade via the Dropbox site or the mobile app?
According to your previous bank statement, were you charged by Dropbox, iTunes or Google Play?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi Helena12, there isn't a method to upgrade over the phone. It can only be done through the Dropbox site or via the Dropbox mobile app.
What's the exact error you're getting? A screenshot, while hiding any personal details or card info, would be great.

i put in card details then it asks me to verify that it is me by going to by banking app but this feature does not work on my banking app which is a separate ongoing issue which cannot be resolved but because it cannot be verified it will not allow the payment to go through so I cannot resubscribe

It sounds like the payment needs to be accepted by your bank, which isn't something that we can assist with, even if you made the payment via another method.
You'd need to contact your bank for further assistance, or find another card or method of payment (such a PayPal) to upgrade your account.
