GST in advertised prices in Australia
The currently invitation-only Dropbox Basic Extra plan here in Australia is advertised at $2.99 a month. However, when you click through on the invitation to purchase it becomes $3.29 a month, due to the addition of GST (Australian version of VAT or Sales Tax) at 10%.
Just flagging that it's illegal in Australia to advertise prices exclusive of GST.
I get why it's happening and that it's not intentional, but reckon it's something you'll probably want to remedy.
The normal dropbox plans available at https://www.dropbox.com/plans are fine, they all include GST in the advertised price.

I'm concerned about the invoice issued by Dropbox for subscription as it includes a GST component but there is no ABN stated on the invoice for Dropbox International.
The ATO regulations state that the supplier's ABN must be included within a tax invoice in order for the recipient to claim the GST.
I have searched on ABN Lookup under the entity name of Dropbox International and there is no ABN listed for the company. Under Australian regulations a company cannot charge GST if they do not have an ABN. I would like to have either an ABN for Dropbox or an invoice that does not have GST added.
