    Thanks for posting your question to our Community, Measle.

     

    Indeed, this promotion with Adobe does exist, however, it cannot be redeemed if you're already on a Dropbox Plus subscription, just like the error message mentioned.

     

    It works for existing users, just not the ones that have already purchased their plan.

This doesn't really make sense...

Hannah replied "Theoretically, if your account gets downgraded from Plus to free, you should be able to redeem the promo."

And then she agreed with z8c192 when they asked for clarification that the offer was only for new Dropbox Plus customers, not existing ones.

Unless we're saying that if our account is downgraded, we will become "new" Dropbox Plus customers when we sign up again with the Adobe offer?

    Hi Ed M.27, essentially, what Hannah explained was that the promotional offer cannot be used to renew an existing Dropbox Plus subscription.

    However, if you're on a Dropbox Basic plan, then you should be able to upgrade and redeem the promotion.
