Welcome aboard the Community, onward.
As a first, can you provide a screenshot of the error message that you keep receiving, when trying to back up your Documents folder?
Let me know when you’re ready!

Hi onward, let me jump in here real quick!
When you click on the Help Center article provided there, does it shine any light on this specific error?

Unfortunetly no! it means that I have paid £47.88 for a service I can not use.

There is no link – it is an error message that occurs when you try to back up the document folder.

Hi onward, when you click on the Help Center link, where does it redirect you?
Is it this Help Center article? If so, have you tried deleting the library from your device as shown here?

Hello,
I want to disable backups because apparently it is now preventing me from saving Adobe Photoshop files even though I am not backing up that folder. I was able to save without issue before I set up the dropbox backup. The instructions tell me I have to sign-in to the device to manage the backup. I am signed in to the device but dont see an option to disable this backup. Please help me turn this off. Thank you!

Hi myralynn, I'd be happy to help with that!
Can you try accessing your app's preferences, then follow the steps shown in this Help Center article on how you can disable Backup?
If you struggle with any of the steps, let me know.
Thanks!
