How can I redeem the 50% Discount for Dropbox Plus with Adobe Creative Cloud?
I have both an Adobe Creative Cloud and a Dropbox Plus subscription. I recently saw that I could be saving 50% on my Dropbox Plus sub.
It has only recently renewed but as my work situation has changed I need to cut some costs while I seek new work.
I want to keep my subscription but want to take advantage of this offer I'm entitled to.
Could someone let me know if they've been able to do this? When I click Redeem Offer it says I already have a Dropbox Plus plan.
I've been paying for Adobe for 30 years and Dropbox for 15 years.
Many thanks!
Thanks for posting your question to our Community, Measle.
Indeed, this promotion with Adobe does exist, however, it cannot be redeemed if you're already on a Dropbox Plus subscription, just like the error message mentioned.
It works for existing users, just not the ones that have already purchased their plan.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Megan Thank you for your reply. If I happen to downgrade to the free plan and then buy DB Plus again, will I be able to get the discount?

Most likely yes FlavioMark - as long as the promotion is still valid, that is.
Just note that when you downgrade your account to the Basic plan, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, not immediately.
Let us know if you have anything else to ask.

Hi
Sorry to asking this question again, what is the resolution for existing Dropbox Plus customers that want to redeem this Creative Cloud 50% discount. I understand it would not apply for the current period but can it apply to future cycles?
And yes the offer is still available as of today (see screenshot below) btw/ no where in the offer/benefit does it say you need to be a new Dropbox Plus customer.
Thanks

Hey z8c192, thanks for your reply on this thread!
So, you're correct in saying that if you're currently on a paid Dropbox Plus plan, the promo won't apply for your current cycle. It would apply, if you were on a free account.
Theoretically, if your account gets downgraded from Plus to free, you should be able to redeem the promo.
It's very important to note, however, that the promo lasts for a limited time. So, if you were to downgrade after the expiration date of the offer, of course, you wouldn't be able to redeem it anymore.
If you have another account that's free perhaps, you'd be able to utilize the promo for that one.
I hope this clarifies things!

Thanks Hannah, so this offer is only for new Dropbox Plus customers and not existing customers. Got it!
