How do I cancel and get a refund?

I just got charged $180 for a subscription that I did not want to have. How can I go about canceling this subscription and getting a refund?

You can cancel your subscription from your Plan page if you started it through the Dropbox website. When you cancel, you'll retain your account benefits until your next billing cycle, at which time your account will be downgraded back to Basic.

As for a refund, you can try contacting Support, but Dropbox subscriptions are typically non-refundable (unless required by law). Only Support would be able to tell you if you qualify.

To contact Support, visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

If you started the subscription through either the Apple App or Google Play stores, you'll need to cancel the subscription through the respective service.
