How do I cancel subscription
the instructions on how to delete my upgrade subscription isn't very clear or in fact misleading. Once I download my photos to a thumb drive, I plan to kill the app. unless reaches out to me soon.
It's actually quite simple to downgrade or cancel your account. Make sure you're following the steps listed in the following help article.
Did you upgrade to a paid account on a mobile device, i.e. through Apple's App store or Google Play? If so, you need to manage your subscription through the store you subscribed in. Otherwise, contact Support and they'll assist with canceling your account.
If you just want to downgrade, you could just try the Downgrade page as listed in this help article and in one of the replies listed above.

I'd really like to cancel my account as well. It's interesting how they make all of this so difficult. This is the most difficulty I've ever had with trying to figure out how to cancel a plan and deactivate an accountDelete your Dropbox account

No one here can help you. You either need to contact Support, or you can cancel it yourself from the bottom of your Account page.

DROPBOX users dropping like flies if they don't hurry up and do a quick fix to this problem. Very simple to do a quick fix but they don't want to because of the amount of money they are siphoning. Little do they know that they are going to have to refund all these customers very soon and users will be switching to a new company.

There's nothing to fix. It's extremely simple to cancel your subscription if you have one. There are different ways to do it, depending on the account type or where you purchased it.

yea these guys are garbage. they are relying on the fact that people will not want to spend hours figuring out how to cancel their subscription or deleting their account all together, i gave this crap program a chance but turns out it is a bloatware program that is overpriced and the people that run it are scummy people that would rather confuse and frustrate their customers into another 10 bucks for another month or two than offer a decent product that is user friendly and not purposely terrible to un sub from. im deleting my account and i run the IT dept at a major university, no computer on this campus will have this program ever again and everyone here on campus will be warned not to fall for this and i will be sure to educate everyone in the area on your competitors. seriously bad business practice for something that should be so simple. shame on you.
