How do I downgrade my Dropbox Essentials plan to the Dropbox Plus plan?

My 3TB plan has expired, and all I really need is 1TB - even less.

It looks like 2TB is the lowest option after the free basic offering.

How do I downgrade to a lower subscription option, as their is no 'change plan' option available, only renew, or 'cancel plan'?

Many thanks.

Is that a current screenshot (taken today) of your Plan page? It says the cancellation is scheduled for May 4th, as if that date hasn't come yet. What does it say right now?

Hi. I do not see how to upgrade now that I have canceled my current plan. Can you help?

Hey Andrew Gough - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

In this case, you'd need to cancel your current plan and revert to the free, Basic plan before re-upgrading to the Plus plan that comes with 2 TB of space.

    I hope this helps, Andrew.

Cancel your existing plan, then upgrade to the plan that you want. Nothing will happen to your files while you do this. Syncing may stop while you're over quota, but it will resume once you upgrade again.
