How to change to the Basic plan?
Hi all.
So I've had a 2TB personal account for a few years now, paying annually.
Recently I realised I'm literally only using Dropbox for storage.
I went to look at plans, without signing into my account, to find a new 3TB plan the same price as my current 2TB account, but also a FREE account purely for storage.
Now I'm assuming this account would be fine for simply keeping photos, files, xl sheets etc without any extras which I don't need?
However, how do I change to this basic free account as I can't seem to find how to do it anywhere - why would Dropbox obviously. Can anyone help point me in the right direction please, or is it just a case of messaging them to get the change done.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Gazo76, I'd be happy to help!
In order for you to change from a paid to a free, Basic account you'd need to cancel your current subscription.
You can find more info on how to achieve that here.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know!

Perfect, thanks Megan.
Knew there was a reason I hadn't already done this, I've got 50GB of data in here, so that's why I'm still using the subscription service 🙂
