I can't figure out how to cancel my Basic plan before it charges me.
chatbot wants a bunch of info that i am not going to submit to a bot....CC #, SS#, on and on. I just want to cancel and go on with my life.
You're right, I got the trial using an alternative email address. Trial now cancelled, jim wilkie you have to have obtained the trial using an alternative email address.

When I go over to billing, there is no provision to cancel. "No payment or billing activity." But -- I am on a 7 day trial which is going to bill me for a year tonight.

Where does it show you this? Is it on the Billing page as well? Can you provide a screenshot showing it?
Also, did you start the trial through the Dropbox website, or through a mobile app?

I started the trial on this PC. Had an email yesterday saying it was going to charge my CC.

There is no phone number and no live chat, just a bot that wants pages of info. I signed up just to send some tax docs to my CPA and gave up, couldn't make it work. The total lack of any responsive support is hard to fathom.

"Go to the icon on the lower left..." There isn't one.

I have the same, Jim Wilkie, no option at the bottom of that page to cancel...

If you dont see a cancel option you haven't upgraded that account so use the one you did.
