I was charged immediately, even though I selected the 30-day trial.

Hello, I had upgraded my account to dropbox plus using a 30 day free trial link. It took me to a transaction page to confirm the bank transaction etc, which I had thought was weird since it was a 30 ...

You are automatically charged after the free trial as the emails and warning messages tell you. 

You need to contact support for assistance, but, refunds are only issued where legally required: https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund
