I'm concerned I might be charged after a free trial of the Dropbox Essentials plan

I am concerned with the status of my Dropbox account. I am on the basic plan after my free trial of the Dropbox essentials but I am concerned that I am going to be charge when I have the 199.99 in my bank.Even though I am on the basic plan and do not want to upgrade to any paying plan or be charged anything.

Please could someone confirm that I wont be charged anything? As I do not want to

Many thanks

    Okay thank you,

Just to confirm I do not want to pay the upgrade or any future purchases and would like to remain on the basic plan that's free.

    Many thanks!

Hey Kevin Lato, how are you today?

Just to make sure we're aligned: are you signing into the same Dropbox account that received the email?

When you check your account's plan page, what does it report?

Let me know, and we'll take it from there!

    Hey Emmie Clarke!

If that's the case, then there's no mention about a charge in the email and it sounds like you're back on the Basic plan.

If you need something else, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help every step of the way.

    Hi

The most recent email I had said

Your free trial of Dropbox Essentials has ended. Sadly we weren't able to charge you for your subscription, so you no longer have access to Dropbox Essentials.

You can upgrade to keep the benefits

    Thanks

Hey Emmie Clarke, thanks for the update.

What does the last email you received say? That you've lost access to your trial's features and then prompts you to upgrade?

If so, you don't need to worry, as your account has been downgraded and you will not be charged.

Let us know if the emails continue to come in, though.

Take a look at your Plan page. If it says you're on the Basic plan, you won't be charged.
