My extra quota promotion ended without notice

Hello community,

I'm reaching out today because a few years ago, I got offered 50Gb of storage for free for an unlimited period of time. I am still using it until a few days ago, where I started to receive emails from Dropbox that I didn't have enough storage capacity (while I was only using around 15Gb out of the 50 available).

Dropbox decided to remove the 50Gb offer without notice and now I have a risk to get my files deleted.

How can I retrieve my 50Gb back?

Thanks for your help!

  • Oh... my bad... now realizing that this is with another Storage provider.

Very sorry for disturbing you. Will close this. Thanks

Hi bapt, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Do you see the extra quota mentioned on this page on your account?

This will help me to assist further!

    Hello Jay ,

Thanks for taking the time to have a look.

In the page you provided, it's written than I have earned 3.74Gb bonus, but there is no reason that explains why (I have no referral). I guess this explains why I have 5.74Gb available, instead of 2Gb.

But I swear I had 50Gb available for years. Can you help?

There isn't a 50 GB promotional offer that lasts forever on our system. Do you recall who promotion you activated originally, or if it was from a specific provider?
