My paid-up Plus subscription was replaced by an empty Basic account.
I am a longtime plus account subscriber but my account shows only an empty, basic account. What happened to my up-to-date, paid, plus subscription? How can I get access what I'm paying for?

2 years agoHey bartholoviews! Thanks for posting on our forum.
From your post, it sounds like your paid plan is linked to another Dropbox account under a different email address.
What you can do to check this is open your bank statement with your Dropbox charges and locate the 12-digit transaction ID that should be linked to them. After that, you can use that ID on this page to see the associated email address. Is it the same as the one that appears here?
If not, you’ll need to log out of your current Dropbox account and sign back in with the correct credentials.
Let me know if that helps.

That did not help. The 12-digit ID required is alphanumeric. The one linked my Dropbox charges is a 15-digit numeric ID. Nonetheless, there are only two possible email addresses that apply, and I tried logging out and logging in with both. I got the same empty Basic account with both.

I see, thanks for letting us know about this bartholoviews
Since you were unable to locate your upgraded account, would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a further look internally?
