Not receiving Verification and Forgot Password email

everytime i opened dropbox web, a red box came up and said i need to verify my email. but when i click sent verification email, i got nothing. i've checked my spam. plus, i forgot my password, and the email for recovering password doesn't come through either. but weirdly, i have sent a community comment in dropbox forum a while ago with the same email address and the notification of "ranking up in dropbox community" came through. so, it's definitely not a problem on my email.

    I just did! You shouldn't have an issue receiving my email, but let me know if you didn't.

    Same problem here, again. Tried on Firefox on Linux and Safari on iPad and it just doesn't work. I thought it was a problem with Yahoo at first but looks like Dropbox is not sending verification emails.

    Hey josh18 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

     

    Could you try clearing your browser's cache and/or an incognito window to request the verification email and let me know how it goes?

    Hi Walter - it started working today after clearing cookies and opening private mode in Firefox (on Linux).

    Just to clarify, are you not receiving the password reset email or did you just forget your password?

     

    If you simply forgot it, you can reset it from this page: https://www.dropbox.com/forgot
