Suspected fraudulent charge attempt
There has been a suspected fraudulent charge attempt on my credit card from Dropbox but I am unable to speak to anyone about this. I have the transaction ID but the lookup tool is not working for me....

Hi, my debit card details have been used in a fraudulent transaction to sign up for a Dropbox account. I have the debit card details and the transaction code. I have had enough speaking to the bank to help me with this issue. I hope Dropbox can assist me in getting my money back. Thank you!

You need to get your card provider to cancel the card and refund you that way. If they have used it to purchase things here they are going to do the same elsewhere.
- IGOTHACKED13 years agoExplorer | Level 3Hi mark, thanks for the advice. Yes I immediately called to cancel the card. Thankfully nothing more was incurred. But the bank has been extremely uncooperative in giving me a refund. hence I’m hoping Dropbox could work with me to resolve this and bring it to the bank’s attention.
