Switching from Apple to Website
I'm trying to switch from a mobile subscription (Apple) to a subscription to Dropbox. I was told to cancel my Apple subscription (which I did) and then I would be able to sign up on Dropbox.
Yet, I'm still told that "Your plan and billing information are managed externally," when I try to upgrade online.
I understand from a prior post that I have to wait for my account to downgrade to basic and then sign up, yet I got a refund on my ANNUAL subscription from Apple. Does this mean I may have to wait a year to upgrade on Dropbox's end?

Hi at0605, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
When you got a refund from Apple, did they confirm that they would cancel the subscription to Dropbox at the same time?
This will help me to assist further!

They did not confirm it but under my subscriptions in Apple it says dropbox expired on May 27.

Sorry to jump in here, at0605.
Do you still see that you're on a paid plan in your Dropbox account settings here?

It says I'm on the Dropbox Professional plan. Also states, "You purchased Dropbox Professional through the iOS app."
There's no mention of payment.

Thanks for the update, at0605.
Can we actually send you an email, so we can investigate this further?

I have the same problem.
I let my monthly subscription (plus) purchased through the Apple app store expire.
I want to switch to the family plan but pay through the website (not via the app store).
But when I go to my account, it still says "Your plan and billing information are managed externally." even though my subscription expired 2 days ago.

Hey drstevok, sorry to hear about this.
Could you let us know what is reported in your plan tab at the moment?
Also, have you tried cancelling your in-app subscription instead of letting it lapse?
