I’ve passed your feedback on this to our team, so that they can also see your comments.
Besides that, can I suggest perhaps that you update the linked email address of the Family manager’s account to yours instead?
This way, you should be able to log in to their Dropbox account, without changing something else.

hi, i hv the same issue, now that our supervisor is resigning, she want to pass the family manager to other member is not possible...we have another problem to invite the new person to replace her, because the new supervisor previously had subscription but he said already canceled it...still unable to accept invitation. dropbox you can do better than this.
