Hey Ruairi MS, let me also jump in here!

Your team can end up in a locked state if your Dropbox team trial period expires.
If you disband it, you should be able to continue with a Basic plan like the one you used before.

When your plan downgrades, you get to keep your existing shared link (s). That said, keep in mind that any links using premium features might not work the same way.
