Hey Graham S.10 - thanks for posting on our Community!

Can you have a look at your security page and let me know how many devices are listed there?

    Thank you!

    Hello Walter,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Answer2 devices only are shown.
My old W10 notebook used to be listed, but it died and have been trying to add new W11 notebook to dropbox
but it indicates I have 3 devices connected.

I need to delete the old W10 notebook.
How can this be done when it is not shown as a connected device?

I look forward to your reply.

    Kind regards,
    Graham

Can you please send me a screenshot of what you see in your security page and another one showing the error you're getting?

Walter, Only 2 connected devices are shown on the security page as shown below and when trying to link my new W11 computer, indicates I have exceeded my limit of 3 connected devices

    Hello Megan,

    Thank you for contacting me.

My old W10 computer failed and I am endeavouring to connect it to my dropbox account.

However, it would seem the old computer link was not closed and dropbox thinks there is already 3 devices connected and so will not link my new W11 computer.

As indicated to Walter, the security page shows only 2 devices connected (as shown above), but on my phone, it shows 2/3 devices connected. I assume that the 3rd device is that of my old unlinked W10 computer.

All I need is to be able to unlink the 3rd unlisted device and then link my new W11 computer.

    Why is this so difficult?

I look forward to your reply and hopefully a fix.

    Regards, Graham
