Email notification settings are ignored
Why do i get spam emails from dropbox?
My email settings are off for any emails (news).

I've also received this same "3 steps to make tax season as pain-free as possible" email FOUR times now. I have all email notifications turned off on my account. I've also tried enabling and disabling the emails in my preferences. There is obviously something wrong on Dropbox's side here.

As a first step, can you please clarify for me which Dropbox platform you keep receiving those notifications on? Is it the Dropbox website or the desktop/mobile app?
Do you keep receiving emails from Dropbox perhaps?

Here's the most recent example (I deleted the earlier one).
This mail was sent to the address associated with my Dropbox account (not visible in the screenshot, as I edited it out).Yes, I received one today at 13:25 PDT.
- I have also been having this problem. Every single notification type is unchecked in settings. My last email was half an hour ago advertising the Dropbox desktop app.
Yeah I'm getting this tax notification too on Windows 10 PC. I had already turned off all the extraneous notifications through preferences, but this still made it through
I get a huge number of emails (and spam phone calls) daily. Please pass on to DropBox that their contribution to this is not appreciated! It takes a considerable amount of time to weed out the crap from the legitimate. My phone and email are PERSONAL, not a public billboard for DropBox or anyone else's use!
So, is there any fix for this?
