Hey Bradlkt
Thanks for reaching out!
To unlink your iPad from your Dropbox account, you can follow these steps:
1. Sign into your Dropbox account at www.dropbox.com2. Click your name at the top of any page to open the account menu.
3. Click on your "Settings" and from there, navigate to the "Security" tab.
4. Once you get to the "Devices" section, click on the X next to the name of the iPad you want to unlink.
Alternatively, if you'd like to unlink directly from your iPad, you can follow these steps instead:
1. Open up the app and go to "Settings" (bottom right of menu)
2. Scroll down until you find "Unlink iPad from Dropbox" & click on it.
3. Tap on "Unlink iPad" to confirm that you want to proceed with this action.
This will lead you to a point where you can choose if you'd like to link a different account or create a new one.
Hope this helps you out and feel free to write back if you've got any further questions!
Thanks and have a great day,
Karina

Hey, just as a quick follow up - when you open up the settings on your iPad and find your email address, scroll down to the bottom, to find the option "Sign Out from Dropbox".
Feel free to reach out to our Dropbox Support team at www.dropbox.com/support or go to http://bit.ly/2m56L7z in order to submit a support request and include a screenshot of what you're seeing, if you're still experiencing issues with this. Thanks!

You dont click on the email address Bradlkt, you click on the box under it that says 'Unlink'
Unlink and signout are pretty much the same thing - you are removing the links between Dropbox and your device. - Bradlkt9 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Hi Mark,
