I was asked to enter a new password, and that created a new account. I need my old account back.
My password wasn't accepted when trying to access my account recently. Instead, I was asked to set a new password meeting DropBox's more stringent requirements. Well and good! Anyway, I did as asked ...

5 hours agoHi there minty_miller, sorry to hear about this.
It sounds like you created or logged into a new Dropbox account. Do you see any signs of your files in the events page? Also, could you possibly have any other devices connected to the account that you used to be able to access?
How long has it been since you last logged into the account in question? Also, did you maybe create a new account using another email address of yours by accident instead of logging into your old account?
If you go to your email account and do a search for "Dropbox" items, does it bring up any old Dropbox related emails from before this happened?
Just make sure to double-check if the address you see here, is the exact same one as your original email address, check that there are no typos in the email on the account etc.
Let us know what you find and we'll take it from there.
