incorrect email address on account
I tried to share a file and my email address could not be verified. I found that it is not entered correctly in the account. Seems easy to edit but I have to verify the email address before changing it. This cannot be done since the address on the account is not a valid address. So, how do I get the address changed?

I am having a similar issue - tried just setting up a new account with the email I want to use but it comes up with an error saying it can't reach the email address - it's a valid email address and I have double checked that there is no issue in terms of blocks/spam filters etc. it is incredibly frustrating

The correct domain is @hughes.net, the address is incorrectly @hughrs.net

Buongiorno, non riesco ad accedere ad un mio account, al quale non accedo da molto tempo. La mail utilizzata è "hotmail" oggi con accesso da outlook. Il messaggio di errore è "Email o password non validi", e quando avvio la procedura di modifica della password, nella casella di posta hotmail (nella quale ho anche memorizzato nei contatti "no-reply@dropbox.com"), non mi arriva mai nessuna mail (ho tentato decine di volte).
Cosa posso fare per recuperare il contenuto del mio dropbox?

Dici di non aver accedo l'account da molto tempo. Quanto tempo è passato? Se l'account fosse inattivo per più di un anno, sarebbe stato eliminato a causa dell'inattività.

Molto più di un anno, non sapevo di poter perdere tutti i file per il mancato utilizzo di un anno, senza neanche ricevere preventivamente un avviso...

Dropbox invia molte email prima che l'account venga eliminato. È anche menzionato nei termini di servizio.
