If your old email address wasn't verified with Dropbox, you would need to verify the current email before you can change it, which would send something to the old email. You wouldn't lose access to the account, but you could if Dropbox decides to expire your password in the future.
If your email address isn't verified and you don't have access to it, you won't be able to change the email address on the account.

But how can I enter my account now?
If you don't remember your password or it's expired, you can't. You'll need access to the email account. Perhaps you can contact the mail provider and ask that they reactivate the mail account.
You can try contacting Support, but they likely won't give you access to the account.

The thing is that i did not change the password and i remember it. I know, that it is correct. But Dropbox says it is not correct! How can this be? Email provider simply does not exist anymore, there's no contacts.

This is why it's important to always have a valid email address on any account you use. They are often the only means of getting back in if you ever gain access, and I'm not just referring to Dropbox. If you use that email address with any other service, you should update it immediately.
As I said before, you can try contacting Support. Good luck.

It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
