Not receiving verification email for changing email address.

My email address for Dropbox will soon no longer be available. I tried to change it following Dropbox instructions, but when Dropbox tells me I must verify it, a small red cross appears & no email for confirmation is sent. A little later I set up 2 factor authentication & received an email from Dropbox fine for that, so I retried the email address change but got the same failure. Help please?

  • Hey GaryMuston, thanks for joining us on the Dropbox Community!

Is it possible that the new email address is currently being used by another Dropbox account already?

Have you attempted to login to Dropbox using that email, or tried to reset a password for it?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
