Notifications for updates on folders do not appear on my MacBook
Hi, I know that a lot of people are annoyed by constant barrage of notification banners, but i face the reverse problem. I don't see dropbox notifications on my mac (its been so for a couple of years...

I've had the exact same issue for years too. All notification settings are set correctly in the dropbox app, and macos has notifications turned on for dropbox, but no notifications ever appear.
This broke with either a dropbox or macos update, as this is the same laptop I've been using since 2019, and this use to work!

Hi,
New installation done. Everything is synced, and no notifications! I agree with nedmac, it broke sometime in 2019-20 ish for me as well
