Old Dropbox Account Linked to PC File Manager
I have recently consolidated my Dropbox accounts, so that I have one Family account, [Removed as per Community Guidelines]
Despite trying various things, my PC (File Manager) is pointing at my old Dropbox account. I have tried re-installing the application on my PC.
The Security tab in settings indicates that it is pointing to the new account. So why is File Manager showing structure and content of the old account?
I'm logged into my new account, but I get a message saying I am still logged in to my old account.
I'm not sure what else I can do. If the connection to the Dropbox account is set up at install, do I need to uninstall the application? Is there any risk in doing that - i.e. losing content? Although the Security tab indicates it is pointing at the new account. Any help would be very much appreciated.
