Dropbox account, but no e-mail

Hi!

I have a problem. I wanted to log in to my Dropbox account that I used during my time as a student. Dropbox recognizes my username and password, however, I also have to enter a 6-digit code that they've sent to my student e-mail.

As I am no longer a student at the university my student e-mail account has been shut down, hence I can't log in to get the 6-digit code.

Ideas of how I can't circumvent this issue? I have some essential documents on that Dropbox account.

Regards,

G

Hi SomeoneGodly, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Do you have any desktop or mobile devices that are able to access the account?

This will help me to assist further!

    Hi!

No, I have no device that can access the old Dropbox account nor the old student account.

But the old Dropbox account still exists, but I can’t access the one-time security code as it goes to my old student e-mail account that doesn’t exist anymore.

Without access to the email its not possible to recover. Its also worth pointing out that if you have not logged in for 12 months + all content will have been removed for inactivity.
