I cannot manage team permissions while signed in as admin

Why can I not manage permissions while signed in as admin?  It clearly says I am.  And yet I can manage sharing permissions at all.  Please help.

I have screenshots, but I don't seem to be able to post them here.  I can't give you much more info without those, other than I am not allowed to change permission settings like who has access to what folders, and I'm not able to share files or folders via email.

This is the same from Chrome and the DB desktop app for Mac.

Hi again, ashtrey1980! Hope you don’t mind the nudge.

Did you get the chance to try out my previous suggestion? If you did, and you need further help, please let me know.

Thanks for the shared link and the screenshots, Ash! What happens if you go to your Admin Console > Content tab?

Are you unable to manage the permissions of your folders from there, too?

I'm afraid I can't open the link you sent, ashtrey1980, for security reasons.

You should, however, be able to copy the image file itself to the reply box.

Otherwise, you can add it to your Dropbox account and send us a shared link.

Hrrrrrrmmmm.  I wish I could share the screenshot with you that says "file not allowed" when I try to attach my screenshots! 🤪  I thought maybe .png files aren't allowed (which would be dumb), so I tried converting to .jpg and receive the same error message.

Let's try this.  I'm going to share a Google Drive link with the images... that's right, I said it... as that is so much easier to manage permissions in.

Hi there, ashtrey1980, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

You should be able to send us your screenshots, by uploading them to your next reply from the camera icon at the bottom of the reply box, but you can also just copy and paste them into the reply box, if that doesn't work.

If you're getting error messages while trying to take actions on the Dropbox website, please include screenshots of those too.

    Thanks in advance!
