Signin with Key works when Yubikey is unplugged

I recently set up a YubiKey, and when I plugged in my spare key to set it up, dropbox said that the key was already registered. So then I attempted to sign in with no key plugged in at all and I was able to sign in and bypass two factor.
 
Am I doing something wrong?


EDIT: nevermind - I did apple’s passkey feature which is why it wasn’t using yubikey.
