Why they disable and delete my accont with yahoo mail

Hello guys please need help.
When i was in college i opened two dropbox accounts one with gmail "removed per the Community's Guidelines" and another with yahoo " removed per the Community's Guidelines" mails.
Both accounts didn't open/sign in for almost 3 or 4 years.
In this year i opened both of my accounts but my account with yahoo mail fail to open up and trying hard to recover my password via email link but pop up "invalid email address" message showing up.
Please anyone who faced such kind of problem, please need help because my account contains my research work and university photo album.

    If its been over 12 month since you logged in the accounts are removed (deleted) for inactivity. It isnt possible to recover after that period. Sorry

    But why they delete only account with yahoo mail and not that with gmail
