I’m very Happy with dropbox generally, but this missing feature is extremely annoying. It forces me to keep pictures in different places, such as external harddisks, because I can’t otherwise use the photos section.
If anyone knows of a product similar to dropbox that has this feature PLEASE write about it, I will buy it immediately.
my main concern is like the others in this thread. I have real family photos, and then I have work photos, photos of recipies, photos of books I’d like to read etc etc. I don’t want them all mixed
What I do right now is totally ignore the Photos tab except to upload photos and videos from my iPhone's photos. Since this is all related to Dropbox, I doubt there is an app that can do what you want and still use Dropbox. I believe that iCloud or Google do not do what Dropbox does with it's Photos tab, but I am not certain of that.
