Although all the settings say it should be, my recently installed copy of Dropbox on a new W11 machine is not autostarting on switch on. I'm having to start it manually. One PC and 2 iOS systems can use the account. Old PC previously disconnected.
Any ideas? Thanks.

So none of the suggested fixes worked for me. In startup apps and in the app profiles it was already set to startup when the system starts. I do think I have solved the issue for my machine.
I looked in the task scheduler and there were two entries for Dropbox and both were disabled. I deleted the one that didn't look as complete and enabled the other. On reboot Dropbox was running. I hope this continues to work.

Sorry to hear the issue came back, @r-c-195.
Have you disabled CCleaner and the Dropbox app still doesn’t automatically launch when you turn on your computer?

Disabling CCleaner didn't work. In fact the mystery is that when Windows 11 starts, the Startup option to have Dropbox start automatically switches off.
It's like when Windows restarts, something is causing the
Dropbox setting to automatically turn off.
The only reliable solution that I have found is to manually start it.
I wrote a .bat file and in it I start a few things I have added dropbox.exe and of course one has to use the complete path and it is necessary to put it in double quotes because the path has spaces in it. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\dropbox.exe"
I know this is not automatic, but I have to start some other programs this way so I just added dropbox.
Thanks for the updates and the screenshot, @r-c-195.
Can you attempt to reinstall the Dropbox app once more on your computer, but this time, make sure it’s installed with admin rights? In order to do this, you’ll need to follow these steps.
Let me know how that goes!
