Can I create a password for individual files?
Hi I was wondering. Can I have a secret code for one of my files in Dropbox? One user only. Any ideas?
Hi Stam25, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If you're using a shared link, and you're on a Dropbox Professional or Business plan, you can create a link with a password on it.
Otherwise, if the file type supports it, you can create a password on the file which you can share privately to that user to open and view the file on their end.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
