File Request - maximum folder size (profesional dropbox account)

File Request - maximum folder size (profesional dropbox account)

Based on the link below
https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-file-request

It stated

  • Customers on Dropbox Professional, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise can accept files up to 50 GB in size.

I repeat the above statement again, "can accept FILES up to 50GB in size"

Can i reconfirm when i request file:
1) I assume the above statement referring to a MAXIMUM of 50GB total file size in A SINGLE FILE. Am I Right?
2) Can I advise the uploader to create a folder with MORE THAN 50GB and UPLOAD that particular folder which contains lots of individual files with less than 50GB per file size? Will this work?
3) What is the MAXIMUM Folder size i can request the uploader to upload?

Kindly advise. Thank you

Hey @gandhi28152, thanks for posting on our Community and happy Friday!

I just wanted to confirm that the 50 GB size limit is referring to both files and folders, so the up-loaders to your file request won't be able to add files or folders that are larger than this. You'd need to open up a new file request for them to upload any files that didn't fit in the first file request.

I hope this helps!
