Another business has shared a folder with me. All the files for our project are in the folders. He wants to delete the files now the project is finished and I want to keep them. He was the one that shared the folder.
How can I keep the files and ensure when he deletes all the files from his DropBox I don't lose everything too?
Thanks for your help.
Hey @Kathrynmcg1, thanks for joining the Dropbox Community!
Since this person is basically the owner of the folder, they do have the right to delete it.
However, if you want to make sure you don't lose the files, you could just make a copy of this folder somewhere else in your account.
I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.
