Laptop and desktop (both Windows 10) are not syncing with each other - using basic Dropbox

I have installed basic dropbox on my laptop (Windows 10) and had no problems syncing to a desktop.  We just bought a new desktop (Windows 10) and the data entered into the laptop is not being saved on the desktop.   I deleted data to be sure that I was under the threshold limit for the basic Dropbox plan.   And I uninstalled and reinstalled the Dropbox program on both devices.....

Yes, if the account is overquota, it wouldn't be possible to sync files. You'd need to either increase your quota or delete files on your account.

Hi @Richard007, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Is the Dropbox desktop application showing syncing, up to date, or another message when you hover over the icon in the system tray on both devices?

Does the Dropbox site show the correct data?

This will help me to assist further!

Jay:  I found the system tray..............the message that I'm getting is that "Your dropbox is full....upgrade to get more space"....Would this prevent both devices from syncing?   If so, I will delete photos and other data to get under the threshold.
