New Mac sees old picture files but not new ones. New file uploads for sharing but is invisible.

New Mac user.  Cannot get dropbox to work.

    Hi Earl1, let's jump right into this! 

     

    You mentioned in the title about file uploads for sharing, being invisible. Could you give me some additional details on that, please? 

     

    It sounds like you can see your old files locally, but not any new files that you add on the web, could that be the case? If not, don't hesitate to correct me. 

     

    Also, does the app launch without any issues when you try to open it? Feel free to clarify the app's current syncing status, and version.
