Why can I no longer simply give others the link to a folder I want to share?
This has now become a confusing mess! I used to simply share a link to the folder I wanted to share, with those I wanted to be able to access it. Today, I set up a folder, put the files in it I wante...

The default behavior for creating a link is now the creation of an Edit link, and anyone using an Edit link needs a Dropbox account.
You can change the default settings for links you create on your Sharing page.
