Re: Finding downloaded photos

Finding downloaded photos

Help! A few years ago I paid a photographer to send me photos to my Dropbox. We set it all up and I believed that I downloaded them. When I went to my laptop the photos were not there so I came back to drop box. The photos are nowhere. I cannot get back in touch with the photographer but the pictures are invaluable. Does anyone have an idea of how I can possibly find them? Or what I can do? Thanks

If thats all that those links show then the photos were never added to this account unless they were in a Shared folder (which the other person 'owns' and can remove).

Unfortunately there isnt going to be a way of recovering via Dropbox so you'll need to ask the photographer for help.

Where did they put them?

What is www.dropbox.com/home and www.dropbox.com/events showing?

How long ago is it since you last logged on to Dropbox - was it over 12 months?

Thank you so much I think you may be right and that the photographer may have removed but I have no means to contact him. I have to take a loss I suppose. Such a shame. Thank you again.
