Hi,

I want to remove a shared users access from one of my folders. Will they be notified that I have removed their access? I also want to delete the same shared folder as it is a duplicate version.

Thanks for getting back to me here @REDO0213.

They would need to go manually to their Events page to see that the folder was unshared with them.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi @REDO0213, thanks for reaching out to us here!

If you unshare a folder, they will be able to see that their access was removed from the shared folder from their Events page here.

Let me know if this helps!

Daphne,

Thank you for your reply! Another question: will they receive a notification or will they have to specifically go to their events page to see that I have stopped sharing a folder with them? I am trying to merge one shared folder into another shared folder, and I receive an error message. The individuals in the first shared folder are also in the second shared folder.

I am the owner of a folder that is several years old.  I want to delete the folder but don't want the other people to be notified.  They had view only permissions.  Can I delete a folder without anyone being notified?
