Where are shared files, and how can I delete them?
Dropbox says I am using almost 2GB of space in shared files. I don't know where they are or what they are. How do I find them and delete them?
The shared files, come from the shared content that you sent in the latest screenshot, the one starting with "Giz" taskman.
As for the rest of the content, you provided a screenshot before, of your Backups. Your RECOVERY backup seems to be taking up 6.74GB of content, along with your External drive, which seems to be taking 0.96GB.
You also shared a screenshot showing us your home page, along with some other files there. Did you delete any of the backup, or content ever since?

3 years agoHey karenrands and taskman, to get an idea of the space you're using, make sure to check the plan tab in your account settings.
Does it report that it's shared files taking up your space?
And have you followed the steps in this article to see the size of files/calculate the size of folders in your Dropbox, to see which files are taking up your space?

Hi
If you look at this screenshot it seems shared files are taking up 2.6GB of space, if I understand it correctly
The size thing worked. Thank you. I am still trying to find where the 2.6GB is going to

I'm afraid that for security reasons, we can't access those links with the screenshots; if you can attach the actual screenshots in your next response, it would be really helpful!

Hey taskman, thanks for the screenshot!
Do you see any files or folders taking up space in your homepage or the backups page perhaps?
