How can I clear Dropbox notifications?

How can I clear Dropbox notifications?

I have two questions:

1. How can I clear Dropbox notifications?  I am using the latest version of Dropbox on my iPhone 10 (it was updated recently).  The Dropbox app keeps show a "2" on the notifications icon in the upper right of the Home screen.  When I tap on that it shows 6 unread notifications.  When I tap on any of the notifications, nothing happens.

2. How do I find out the version number of my Dropbox app?

Thank you

Hey @JB2023, thanks for posting your question to the Dropbox Community!

Can you tap on "account", then on the gear icon and then on "clear cache" to see if that helps with the "2" on the bell icon?

Following the same steps (before clear cache) will also show you the version of the Dropbox app.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you, Hannah.

I tried that, but it had no effect.

Any other suggestions?

It did enable me to find the version number.  Thank you!

Hi @JB2023, could you share the version of the app with me here?

As for the notification behavior you mentioned, would it be okay for me to send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this?

@Megan - Yes you may send me an email.  is there a way to reply to you privately so I can give you my email address?

Hey @JB2023, before we send you an email, can you please open the Dropbox app, go to the Home tab, tap on the bell icon, then on the "..." (ellipsis) button at the top right corner and then on "mark all as read", to see if that works?

Hi Hannah,

I followed your instructions, but nothing changed.

Thank you,

Hi, I'm having the same issue. App version 320.3.2 for the iPhone.

Mark all as read does nothing. Clicking on each just takes me back to the home screen. Cleared cache didn't help either.
