Hello,

I need help with settings. I just purchase porfesional subscriptions. the purpose was i have couple ald laptops with family pictures, I would like to upload them to dropbox and keep pictures save no need syncronizing them with all my devices ( my laptops are full) . At the same time there is couple folders i would like to have acces from my work computer and from home laptops. I copy files from laptop to dropbox in file explorer and now dropbox ix trying syncrnize those pictures all aver my devices. It did'nt empty eny space on laptop but dowload all pictures to work computer. so now i have 2 hard copies of all the pictures.

I unistalled dropbox from laptop and delated drop box from laptop to clear **bleep** space. Once I installed drop box again, emediently start dowloding entire content to my laptop again

How do i control what content is syncronizing and to what mashine?

Hey @Jacob7878, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.

To control which specific folders get synced to a computer linked to your Dropbox account, you can use selective sync.

Selective sync allows you to remove entire folders from you Dropbox folder, and it's computer specific, so you can have different folders synced on each connected computer.

You can see more about the feature and how to enable it here.

Let me know if you have any questions.
